Hmmmmhhhh…

Compared to the 125, the 090 is … a small! … (a very small!!!) beauty. 😎 And I hope that comforts you a little…? P.S.: The 125 was MY first Panerai… I was so proud of it. I sold it a few years later. Even today, I still get chills down my spine and shiver

Ha!

Dear Sergio, I had a good laugh reading your post. There was a time when Panerai tried very hard to prove they could do everything… Power reserve. GMT. Date. Cyclops. Chronograph. Text. More text. I believe I might have some strong contenders for the comp

PAM123......

...the watch that I've always considered the ugliest one, EVER produced, held a huge surprise for me. A revenge surprise, of sorts. I've been to only 1 SIHH, in Geneva. I'm not a "social" person and I accepted the invitation only for sheer curiosity and b

Thank you, Armis — truly appreciate the kind words.

As for the Panerai that stayed with me… the ones that endured weren’t the rarest or the most complex, but the ones that marked the important moments. My 124E has been with me since my early twenties — it was my first Panerai, my first mechanical watch, an

Interesting story…

And I would agree that I also disliked this model. However, I have the PAM125 which is basically the same, just upside down, a couple of mm smaller and with some cosmetics. I still find it attractive, although maybe too posh and dressy for a Panerai… I kn

After a couple of dark....

This NYC looks nothing like that 123 and you're the only one to pounce on the blue BiTempo, which is also a far cry from it...

No, the immediate reference to the movement controversy, that "sunk" the brand for the delicate "Paneristi", in the comments and off the cuff slights for fun, at a brand that is doing very well from a design standpoint these days, shows me that it's diffi

Ready to pounce on THESE....

....Panerai models not "on Panerai". For instance I've always considered the PAM123 the ugliest model ever produced. Now it can "disguise" itself among some mainstream Panerai.

For small wrists, as mine, great!

Of course there is always different views. However, for me the biggest lever is personal preference, and here I always liked Panerai. I bought in 2003 the 40mm PAM125 - still own and love it!
